Project implementation phases

I. Personalized plasma reactor requirements identification, design and inhouse fabrication.

Aim: Identification of technical requirements of the plasma reactor for agricultural applications requirements, in accordance with the expectations and needs of partners. Assessment of optimal treatment variant as well as cytogenetic and biometric analysis on wheat sprouts treated with PAW as well as the study of the effect of PAW on the wheat sprouts growth and microbiological treatment.

III. Functionality demonstration on increasing the BFP and assessment of antioxidant therapeutic potential on wheat sprouts plantlets.

Aim: The aim is to detect the treatment variant inducing the highest accumulation in bioactive compounds and possible, a reduction in phytic acid content.

IV. Optimization, reconfiguration and integration of NTP-T LU into a multi-reactor system as laboratory equipment and preindustrial process of wheat seeds treatment.

Aim: At this stage of project implementation, the partners will develop a definition of overall pretreatment process into multi-reactor system as laboratory equipment for successful integration of the reactor on pilot line (preindustrial phase). Practically, the integration of plasma reactor into a multi-reactor system as laboratory equipment and demonstrative validation of technology on increasing the therapeutic potential of wheat sprouts will be realized.
